Since I’ve been using Si for quite a while now it’s about time I let you know what my experience with this fragrance’s looked like. I’m quite hopeless when it comes to describing scents but as I managed to do a little review on Tommy Hilfiger one, I should be able to handle Armani too. Let’s get straight to the business then- ready? Here we go!
Price: 45-50£ /30ml
Packaging: Very elegant and simple- a sleek, heavy bottle containing the rose gold- coloured liquid. It looks really classy and expensive, I like it a lot.
What the manufacturer says: At once chic, sultry, intense, and soft at the same time, Si eau de parfum lingers on the skin and enchants the senses. The distinguished and elegant olfactory result plays on emotion, true to the Giorgio Armani couture spirit. The women’s fragrance combines three notes: blackcurrant nectar, modern chypre, and blond wood musk with touches of freesia and May rose scent. This new perfume has been created for the modern woman who’s strong yet feminine, sophisticated yet charismatic. She embodies the very essence of chic Italian elegance and style. She says YES to life; Sì to Strength, Sì to Dreams, Sì to Freedom, Sì to Love and Sì to Myself.
What to expect: Pretty, feminine, sophisticated fragrance. At first it appears slightly fruity to develop into floral and finally settle as warm and soft vanilla. With a rich note of blackcurrant nectar and freesia Sì is indeed distinctive, not overpowering though (not the old lady in the lift type, don’t worry). It is dry and quite sweet, reminds me of a warm summer night.
What I like about it:
- Beautiful packaging- modern, elegant bottle beautifully compliments copper-ish tint of the liquid
- It’s elegant, modern and unique
- And what’s best… It lasts FOREVER!!! It develops into different phases thorough the day but you can still smell it after many, many hours <3
Warning: There isn’t actually anything I dislike about this fragrance, although like I said- it is very specific, distinctive scent, hard to be mistaken for anything else so if you’re looking for a safe present option, I wouldn’t recommend it. Sì, beautiful as it is, may simply not be everyone’s cup of tea.
Summary: Chic, expensive fragrance to transform your day when you need a little confidence booster
Have you ever tried Si? Do you like it as much as I do?
