Good morning everyone! Do you remember my post about finally getting a flat after long weeks of looking for it? Back then I told you that East London probably suits me better than the posh area of Kensington, right?? Well, as much as I love my East End (because I genuinely do!), winter (and spring!) walks around Notting Hill almost make me want to change my mind!
On Boxing Day morning, after having breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien (the most epic pastries and the most horrible coffee if you ask me! Please someone teach them how to make flat white…) I thought I’d have a look around. I was walking… and walking… and walking… and I couldn’t get enough! Notting Hill has that unique ability of mixing the old and new, luxurious and alternative, contemporary and traditional… and that’s what I love about it. The whole place… it’s just sooo gorgeous! These rows of adorable houses with colourful wooden doors which surely contribute to its charm… old-fashioned shops along Portobello Market, tiny bakeries and cafes… they all make Notting Hill absolutely wonderful. And now, with Christmas wreath on every other door it looks like a town from a fairy tale! I seriously struggle to express how much I adore the place, it’s just too stunning to be real! Oh well, I also remember saying ‘see you in the New Year’ in my previous post but come on, these are just too adorable not to be shared! So now I will do you a favour and kindly shut up to let the pictures speak for themselves!
I’d literally move in to each of them! Which one is your favourite?
