Baking Festive Goodies- Father Christmas, We’re Ready!

bakingNot sure how it is in your part of the world, but in here the weather doesn’t behave at all- it’s been raining all the time and it really is quite hard to believe that Christmas is just a few days away. However, there’s a great thing to do to feel the proper festive atmosphere- light up the tree, put on your favourite carols, prepare some mulled wine and… start baking seasonal goodies with your friend!

When Daga called me up asking if I fancy baking some ginger biscuits together, I absolutely loved the idea. What I didn’t expect, however, was setting up a real home manufacture! We ended up baking not only the biscuits but also mince pies (my longing-for-England idea), vanille kipferl (that one came from Daga who grew up in Austria) and two other kinds of crunchy biscuits I don’t even remember the names of! What a crazy night, it was sooo much fun and so many festive things in one place that it could easily go as a Christmas rehearsal (because why not? ).

And as you may expect, everything had to be documented 🙂

What about you, do you fancy baking Christmas goodies at home? Are you ready for Father Christmas to come? 🙂

  • Such wonderful cookies. I am craving to crunch and munch on them.

Merry Christmas and happy eating these! 🙂

    • Thank you so much for your nice words and wishes- would be happy to share the biscuits! Happy Christmas to you and your loved ones too! 🙂 x

  • Haha I mean its spring but ya know I am always hungry and I love sweet treats! Do you think it will be acceptable to have them at this time of year? Lol x

    • Most definitely 😀 It’s never a bad season for something sweet or Christmas, is it 😉 Xx
