Everyone knows Notting Hill- whether it’s because of the film, the carnival, lovely little cafes or insane property prices, Notting Hill is one of the most famous districts in London. I’m not really sure if living in such a posh neighbourhood would be my kind of thing but I certainly like the area. Let me show you why.
Aren’t these houses pretty? Notting Hill is packed with Victorian houses painted every possible colour. Would you like to move in to one of these?
In case you wonder how much would it be, check out my fellow blogger’s post– Joy beautifully pictured the Notting Hill wonderland without forgetting to mention the money part. Not so wonderland-ish anymore, huh?
Portobello Road, probably the most popular street in the area is especially known for its market. Although there’s much more going on at the weekend, during the week you’ll still find plenty of shops and stalls open to serve a few locals and hundreds of tourists.
The All Saints shop in the area is huge- just look at those sewing machines, they are everywhere!

Even if shopping is not your kind of thing (is that actually possible??? if so, teach me how!) I’d still recommend taking a nice walk around Notting Hill. Pop in some coffee shop to get your latte and enjoy the sunshine in this charming surrounding.
