Aker Brygge And Vigeland’s Park- Oslo Trip Part 4

Aker Brygge

I’m thrilled to start the last part of my Oslo posts sharing pictures from the coolest place ever.
Aker Brygge

Aker Brygge, which became my favourite spot in the capital of Norway, is packed with restaurants, cafes, shops and museums.

Being fresh, vibrant, very modern and still incredibly charming, the area reflects the best Oslo has to offer. I could easily stay there for a while…

…in one of those, for example…

With its neighbourhood of water and dozens of boats on it, Aker Brygge reminded me a bit of London and St Katherine docks… or am I just going nostalgic again?

After a walk around Aker Brygge, we moved to another, equally enchanting place.

Vigelandsparken at this time of a year is exceptional, this is where Autumn really works its magic…

Running among giant pieces of art I felt like Alice in Wonderland… how many of us don’t even know such places exist!

The park was gorgeous, surreal, romantic, mesmerising… I’m running out of words, you just have to experience it yourself!

Having wandered around for a while, happy and hungry, we took the bus to another important spot- Kasbah hummus bar, to stuff ourselves with the most delicious falafels and chickpea spreads…

…as well as Moroccan vegetable soup…

…not to mention ciders 😉

Oh boy, looking at these pictures again I can say only one thing- I miss you, Oslo! …and I promise to be back one day 🙂
