Today I’d like to share my first food diary with you. Just a few homemade meal ideas- all really tasty and easy to make from scratch.
Millet porridge with fruit
Perfect, warming up breakfast to start cold autumn mornings with! Cook millet as usual, add some rice milk (or any other milk of your choice), honey, cinnamon and your favourite fruit pieces- ta- dah!
Vegan ice cream
Your dairy-free ice cream base can be anything you like- bananas, coconut milk or avocado. Just blend them with fruit, nuts or cocoa and put in the freezer- after two hours you’re going to enjoy a delicious snack, so much healthier than the traditional goodies. The ice cream presented in the picture is the simplest version ever, made of bananas and cocoa powder only.
Mushroom and pea buckwheat
Buckwheat topped with stir-fried mushrooms and peas. Mixed with plenty of seasonings, flax and sesame seeds. You can ad a drop of soy sauce if needed. Yum!
Carrot and ginger juice
Packed with antioxidants and vitamins is a tasty way to prevent you from getting a cold this season.
Cook lentils with bay leaves and vegetable stock for 15 minutes. Ad stir-fried onions, garlic, carrots and red peppers. Cook for another 20 minutes, adding potatoes, marjoram and tomato puree. Enjoy with pumpkin seeds and greens on the top.
